Shocking Service

A friend and I went to the Sandton branch of the CTFM as we have always enjoyed their food in Cape Town and Durban. Unfortunately, we had the most horrific experience any patron could ever expect at any resturant. It started when we requested a change in our order and the waitor could not do this - within minutes of placing the order. The Manager then asked that I sign a piece of paper indicating why I wanted to change the order. Our drinks arrived and the order was incorrect. The waitor then dropped both glasses of soft drink across the table spilling 1 glass on my friend. We were relocated to another table and I requested another waitor as I was not happy with the clumsy oaf who served us initially. Our food arrived as we were informed that they did not have a cheese sauce to go with the meal. This of course was not communicated to us when we placed the order. I again called the Manager who seemed to be very fluent in "I'm sorry". He went to the kitchen and came back with a response that he had to go upstairs to the storeroom and that we would have to wait. This was the last straw and I insisted that we would not be paying for anything and we left the resturant. Shocking Service!
