Piatto Franchising
Halloumi Cheese fried in fish Oil

Hi, my husband and i (BOTH STRICTLY VEGETARIAN) went for supper at Piatto Resturant in Bassonia last night and had ordered the HALLOUMI CHEESE and CYPRIOT MUSHROOMS
as starters. when the food arrived there was a strange fish smell. Considering that
there were many other people around us, we had amused that the table next to us
that ordered fish and that the smell was coming from their table. my husband proceeded
to eat the halloumi cheese and immediately stopped as he could taste that something was
not right. the waitor was called and asked whether the halloumi cheese was fried in fish
oil and he was it was. i processed to call the manager and he changed the story to say that they
have separate oil for chips and halloumi cheese... we asked for the bill... and we charged for the starters
that were not eaten and walked out of the resturant

totally disgusted with the branch
