My first John Dory's experience was in Ballito and it was a real standard setting, amazing service, food, atmosphere everything was just superb! However my experience at John Dory's Monte Casino has been nothing close to that, not because of the food but because of the poor service! My first bad experience was them messing up my Sushi order, I am allergic to shellfish so ordered Salmon maki and was instead served prawn, thankfully my boyfriend quickly realised it was prawn and not salmon, for that we didn't even get an apology for the mix up. The second time we waited well over an hour for our sushi order and finally the last straw was this evening when we were seated at a closed door, however people were in and out, bumping my chair and just ruining the evening, even though the main entrance to the outside patio area was WIDE OPEN! I felt so uncomfortable and just "in the way". By the end of our not so pleasant meal the waiting staff could clearly see how irritated I was that they finally lock the highway, but yet again not an apology nothing for ruining my evening again! Thank John Dory's, I'll make sure this time is the last time there! R270 wasted! Never again!!!
