I wanted to drew money at the FNB ATM at Cape Gate. The machine where very slow and after some time, returned my card and a slip with the following message: We have encountered a problem, please contact the nearest FNB Branch for assistance. There are not contact numbers at the machine? THis was after hours. I waited a while at the machine but it only stated "out of servive". My R800 was deducted from my account but I did not receive the money at all at the machine? I went to the bank on Monday morning to resolve the matter only to complete a form, and being informed to wait another 7 workdays for investigation? WHY? I gave proof of the error slip that was returned and that I did not get my money? This is unacceptable, it is my money and surely they can see on the video that I did not get any? I want this resolved and bank in my account asap! The bank consultant also confirmed that they have problems with this ATM so why not sort the problem and now making it mine?
