FNB Poor poor poor services

I am in the process to but my first home and after everything you hear in the media you get this idea that FNB is the way to go. My father has also been banking there all his life, so naturally when I went to apply for my Building Loan I went to FNB.

Firstly I made sure to go into a branch as this was my first time applying I want to make sure I get all the documentation right and in order. I completed the documentation and attached all the relevant supporting docs as the application required, i handed this in to the person I met with and he checked everything said it was all in order and said he would send it through. so 4 days went by and I didnt hear anything back, i phoned the branch to check if this is normal he assured me that "if i havent heard yet it is a good sign and that i should hear in the next few days". so now a week has gone by and still nothing, I decided to take it up myself and phoned the FNB call centre, the lady that helped me was extremely helpful and she managed to find my application. Apparently none of the supporting documents that I gave to the bank were ever sent through.

So now I ask FNB what now??
