SHOCKING SERVICE AND OUTCOME BASED ON CIRCUMSTANCE

We had undergone on a few items at home, in particular my cellphone. We had opened up a case with the cops, wishful thinking that we would get our items back as the phone had sentimental value. 2 weeks after the phone had been we noticed that the BBM service on my phone was being used. We then alerted the cops whom in turn told us that they will have to obtain a court order to trace the phone, which will take time and I was willing to wait. This obviously had taken longer than anticipated, and then gave up hope and claimed from Standard Bank a few days after the 30 day period. Since then I have waited for a response advising Standard Bank as to the reason for the late claim. 2 weeks later, despite calling everyday regarding information on the claim, asking consultants to call me back with an update no one had delivered. Called through yesterday begging for someone to get back to me as I was told we should hear back by then and to no surprise this had not happened. Today I call and get told that the claim was rejected based on late submission. REALLY... after having given reasons cos we were trying to find the phone we are told they cannot pay out... appalled!!!
