Banking just got FRUSTRATING

I applied foe an Elite Banking account via the internet. A consultant phoned me and we went through the application telephonically. I was asked which branch I would like to collect my card and sign the relevant documentation. I replied that it would be most convenient to work through the Mall @ Reds branch as it's the nearest to me and I work far from a bank during the week. So when I did go into the bank I was told that my file wasn't there but at the main Centurion branch so I went there. After a long wait there I was informed that although my file was there they couldn't get to it as the people that bring it up aren't working. That meant another trip to the bank the next week-end, which I did. After sitting and signing everything I was given a debit card which I was told will still be active once my cheque card arrived. I set up my internet banking and loaded my beneficiaries so that I could pay my accounts. After collecting my cheque card yet another week later I was asked if I wanted to keep my debit card linked to my internet banking which I did. Got paid, went in to pay my accounts and the card is no longer linked to my accounts!
