FNB deserves its praise

After a recent wallet loss, I had to go through the painful task of replacing all my bank cards and other documents. FNB online banking allowed me to do so on the spot from my phone, not long after the incident. I could also immediately order my new card and have it sent to my local branch. The iPhone app, furthermore, allows me to send money to my cellphone number, which I can draw from the ATM with a pin. Cardless banking at its best. Not long after, I was able to fetch my cards at the relevant branch in Stellenbosch. The Neelsie branch deserves an award. I have always received top notch service there: quick and efficient, and always with a friendly disposition.

FNB seems to have a winning combination. Their online offering (which includes transfers of funds internationally, topping up my electricity meter from my phone and an affordable VOIP service) is incredibly convenient, and when it is necessary to go to a branch, their staff are well-trained and only have to deal with the most necessary business. Well done! FNB deserves its accolades, and my intention to move to a cheaper bank some years ago has been proven unwarranted. Many thanks, and keep the innovations coming.
