Correct feedback required

I went to apply for a loan yesterday on the understanding that it takes 24 hrs for approval. It is now exactly 24 hrs since my application and still no response. The problem with the headoffice because the consultant e mailed the required documents in my presence and when I phoned the call centre toeday they said that they are awaiting the documents from the branch and it will take another 24 hrs.
Can some one from headoffice please contact me rather urgently as I would like to know what is going on because I am sure I, (like most people) only apply for a loan in desperate circumstances.
