45 days later and still no final grant

Myself and wife, applied for a home loan with FNB for a house we want to buy in our trusts name. Our application papers were sent through to FNB mid November towards end November. We waited nearly a month and had no response from FNB until i wrote a complaint on towards the end of December. ref no: 239599. I was contaced by a lady who apologised profusely, blamed the mortage broker and promised i would hear from her within 48 hours, well its been nearly a month and i never heard back from her. We finally received the principle loan from FNB on the 3rd January 2013 (more than a month after submitting the application). FNB did the valuation of the house on the 4th Jan. Some documents were requested wich we sent through immediately. Today is now the 16th January 2013 and we still have not received a final grant from FNB. ABSA bank took less than 3 weeks to send us the final grant and im not even a customer there, please explain that? I feel utterly disgusted with FNB's slow service, its almost like they dont give a, this slow service has driven me to this point where i need to publicly vent my frustration... next stop facebook.
