Closing of account

I was strugling since beginning of march to close my account. When I went to the Parys branch to close this account I was told I needed to by an X amount to close that was done and the account was not closed a debit order from cell c was taken of the account which was not in use. A lady from headoffice phoned me regarding this that was rectifeid and again I asked for my account to be closed I was told to pay an amount of R130.78 before that can be done due to the fact of the debit order that was put on and no funds available. Today I recieved a statement saying I need to pay R60 again. Don't ABSA understand the meaning of closing an account.
