SMS statement misleading

I received an sms stating that my personal loan will be deducted on the 25th of the month after requesting that it only be deducted on the 28th after my salary has been paid into the account.

The sms message I received stated "Your nedbank personal loan payment of xxx will be deducted on 25/04. Missed payment can result in a bad credit record. Tel 0860 103116 ref xxx xxxxxx

I had to listen to silly music for over half an hour before an agent answered the line. He then told me that was the way their system worked and that the deduction will only take place the day my salary is deposited. Come on Nedbank you are creating confusion. Why send out an sms that states the deduction will take place on the 25th when in reality it only takes place after my salary is deposited.

Had the deduction taken place on the 25th as indicated in the SMS, my account would have been in overdraft.
