I recevied an sms from Nedbank Personal loans saying that my account will debited on the 22nd instead of the 25 of march 2013. My debit order is set for my pay date the 25th, and nedbank has no right to move it with our my consent. The 25th is a Monday, which is a working day. I called nedbank to say they need to put it back on the 25th, because I will not be paid by my employer until then and will incur bank charges and a poor profile when the amounts bounce. they said me that no fees will be charged if there are no funds available and that would "track the account" until funds were available! Track my account! I have paid every month religously and have banked with Nedbank for over 9 years now! I take offense that my account is being tracked for monies that is only due to nedbank on the date I have agreed. I can understand if the 25th was on a public holiday, but it isnt. when I asked the lady why this was being done, she said they confrimed with other employers that staff would be paid on the 22nd. well they didnt check with my employer, Im only getting paid on the 25th! Maybe I should move banks.
