How can we help you? HA!

I have stewed for this for quite awhile, and have decided I need to have my say.
I had to put the sum of money for a burst geyser onto my Budget account, over 18 months for which then the repayment wasR84.41. For over a year now I have been putting R200. into the account via debit order from ABSA.
Now 1st bank in their wisdom has discontinued the system of letting us state which account we want to deposit the money, so have been subtracting the R84.41 and putting the rest into the straight facility. Last year I let it ride as it gave me a credit balance.good for Christmas!
However this year it has gone pear shaped.
Firstly there was the payment for the card itself R285.00 which they said had to be paid in one lump sum, and then due to holidays and/or weekend (ie sunday) my debit order was 1day late and they charged me a R220.00 late payment fee. This is iniquitous!
Neither the helpful young man at my local branch, or me (dealing with some unpronounceable name and difficult accent) would be put thorough to a supervisor!
And now although the initial sum for the geyser is down to 441.47... my budget installments have gone up to R166.41..how and why? I need answers! M.D.Benson
