We have been strugling for some time to sort out problems that we have regarding high amount of tax being paid as we are only pensioners. I have seen a tax consaltent and she informed us that Momentum have issued us a IRP5 in 2007 for money that was owed to us for the tax year 2006. We were informed that Momentum had to reissue us with a IRP5 for the year 2006 and not 2007 even though they only paid out the money in 2007 it was owed to us in 2006. for 3 months now it is a back and forward of calls en faxing of documents and Momentum refuses to give us the correct IRP5 as indicated by SARS that they need to pay us the money owed to us. As Pensioners every cent is important and we cannot afford to just let this go as SARS have indicated that the minute they recieve the correct IRP5 from Momentum they will be able to pay out the money we are owed.
