First National Bank
Unreasonable bond delays

I submitted building bond application with all relevant accompanying documentation on the21st of march 2013 shortly after Easter I received provisional approval on condition of a evaluation from the home loans department and was assured that the final approval was imminent. I managed to get an extension on my offer to purchase until the 21st of April which is on Sunday. As it stands I don't expect Fnb to get the approval finalized in time and I will lose the plot that my family are looking forward to building our dream home on. Fnb's delays are unfounded and I am at a complete loss as to how I am going to resolve this issue I was told to expect approval in 7 working days it has now been a month. The ironic thing is Fnb is a client of mine as I am working on their new free state headquarters and am expected to meet critical deadlines is it too much to expect Fnb to do the same
