On 04.09.2013 I sent a complaint to the "complaint resolution centre" email address and to date no one had responded to my complaint. Standard Banks service has gone from OK to BAD. You are very quick to demand payments and call for extra/additional services offered but yet you cant keep your existing clientele happy or give them a good service. Not to mention about being insincere and quick to hand accounts over to attorneys when spouses have lost their loved ones (nature of my complaint sent) Firstly there was no communication regarding settlements and when one go to branch to enquire the status of deceased account, we are being told that there is nothing we can do to the account nor can we enquire regarding balances. BUT two weeks later we receive a lawyers letter demanding payment. There is firstly no communication from standard bank to the executor of the deceased's estate to enquire whether they are able to settle the deceased outstanding debt or whether they are working. Or are you assuming that policies will pay out or protection plans so the widow would have funds to settle whatever you are nagging over and not thinking that the widow is unemployed!!! #DISGUSTED
