Good morning,
I have resigned from my previous employer February 2013 and the last payment received by Alexander Forbes was on the 8th of March - I received a sms confirming this. They told me once i receive a second sms i should phone them with my tax number so they can get a directive from SARS and then payment would take place 7-14 working days. I phoned them back later that week and was told a directive was received on the 3rd of April. I phoned back on the 16th of April and was told on the 11tf of April a query was sent through from the Admin department regarding my surname. My maiden name was van Niekerk, i got married & was changed to van der Merwe, but have been divorced two years ago and my banking details is still in van Niekerk and the name on my claim form is van der Merwe. I have faxed through the required documents ie. certified copy of my ID and divorce letter. I phoned back later the same day - the 16th of April - and asked if the documents was received. I was told the documents was received and she would forward them to the admin department. i phoned today the 18th of April and asked what is the progress - none as the docs received was'nt sent to admin. More Delays!
