I must say that the whole experience with FNB in general is usually a good one, except when it comes to the ordering of smartphones.

I ordered a device from FNB about two weeks ago, and heard nothing. I had to phone them to follow up with them what the outcome of the application was. I was told that I was successful and received a sms stating that I would be contacted within 24hours to arrange delivery. Of course this did not happen within 24hours and I had to follow up again. 2 Days later I received a call and then a sms from the courier company stating that deliver will take place within the next 48 hours. Today was 48hours and so I had to phone the courier company just to be told that the device is ready for the delivery but it has not been scheduled yet.

I have no problem with waiting if the information, given through is correct but I have a huge issue if certain time frames are given and service is not delivered within that time frame as indicated.

The worst part of it all is that you still have to pay R150 for delivery, and this all after the bad service received.
Maybe FNB should stick to banking and leave the selling of mobile devices to the cellular companies
