We woke up on Sunday morning without hot water! Nothing makes me more grumpy. I called Absa insurance co at about 12h30 (had to have a few cups of coffee before I could face it). Within about an hour, we had been contacted by the plumber and about an hour after that the geyser was repaired.
On Tuesday morning I received a text from Plumb Guarantee who did the repair to say that the claim had been paid and everything settled by ABSA. Well done Absa and Plumb Guarantee. You got it right. This is the level of service that we pay for.
