I can't really complain about ABSA Insurance's service, mainly because there is no service. On 30 Dec, at 8 am, I put in a claim for a burst geyser as well as extensive water damage caused by this. I was told that someone would contact me about replacing the geyser on the same day. At 12.45 I was contacted by 24/6 Plumbing and told that a plumber could not be found to do the work. I then contacted ABSA, waited 55 minutes for my call to be answered and offered to find a plumber myself to which they agreed. The work was completed to my satisfaction. I submitted the invoice to Jaen Watson together with a query on how I should go about having the water damage repaired. No reply. I then resubmitted the email to [Email Removed] requesting confirmation that the invoice had been received. No reply. I then called them again. After 60 minutes of waiting for someone to answer my call, the call was cut off. How on earth can ABSA compete against companies giving good customer service? Can someone PLEASE contact me ASAP? I need to know that my invoice for the replacement of the geyser was received and that I will be refunded. And I need to know how to claim for the resulting damage.
