On 12 March we were help up, beaten and the robbers left with our only car, computer and many essential items that you need at 70 and 80 years of age. On the 13/3 the broker came, after much follow up after that it seemed the claim was never lodged. On 27 March they came yet again, and we went through our awful ordeal again, photos were taken and we were assured our claim would be processed as soon as possible.
Now 5 weeks on from our we still have not been paid out. We have no car, no communication as our computer was, no glasses to read and being pensioners we do not have and spare finance to replace all our goods. We have had little feedback, the last question was if we'd submit a photo of my car, which is strange as all the model information etc was conveyed to them. All we know after 5 weeks is that this long delay, while we have no transport and other necessities is that everything has been lodged and a broker has been contacted but they are currently looking for our file. After many years with them and this is the service, left "in the dark" no rental car, no feedback, no one is genuinely interested in our need for closure of this crime!
