I am trying to get a claim paid by Old Mutual. It is a tiny retirement policy that belonged to my late husband. Since October I have been trying to get this paid to me as the beneficiary. First they lost all the documents then they sent requests for information via normal post despite having my e-mail address. They never respond to e-mails and completely ignore what I tell them and just keep sending the same request over and over despite me telling them that they are not getting that information as it is has no bearing on the policy. In desperation I tried to get their CEO's details so I could make him aware how his company treats people but their customer care refuses to give his details and just keeps wanting a policy number - I want the contact details of the head of Old Mutual countrywide but they just refuse to give me anything. Clearly they get a lot of complaints that he wants to avoid!
