Claim not been paid by company insurance

My vehicle was in an accident with Macneil delivery truck on the 1st march 2013, the matter was taken up with the insuance broker, since then i have received some communication with sanlam, who claims that their client has not paid in the required excess so they can not pay me to repair my car, the claim is a minor claim and the reponse i receive from the broker and the insurance is not accpetable.
