Pending Debit Card Authorisation

After an unsuccessful transaction on my debit card, funds are still stuck in the 'outstanding debit authorization'. This is two weeks later..

After numerous visits at a local FNB branch to clear the outstanding debit and have the funds released please assist in resolving this.
