A week ago I had decided to part ways with the utmost disgusting bank in SA (Standard Bank) and I approached FNB on my wife's recommendation. The guy at FNB, Archy from new applications was absolutely amazing and efficient, he had me on a up and running in 20 minutes maximum. Then I got a bit of a run around 2 days later from another department at FNB, I was promised the world and that was not being delivered promptly. After a number of calls, I got to chat with Swinton Scheepers (Call Centre Manager). WoW!!! This guy makes my best customer service experiences look insignificant. His vocabulary does not consist of "can't, won't, impossible and unfortunately". What I was promised and later told can only happen on the following Monday, he made happen within an hour of our conversation. Swinton was also courteous enough to contact me later on that evening (after business hours) to ensure I was satisfied. I am truly impressed with the service delivery from Swinton as he restored my faith in FNB. Thank you, I am grateful for all the assistance.
