I took a loan with capitac last year to consolidate bad debt as i wished to clear my ITC and raise my points. It was approved and have been paying it since June last year. I checked my ITC a few months ago and the greatest joy ever was that it was cleared of debt. Two weeks ago i applied for a policy through my bank who declined me! I was horrified to find out that this was because they said i have an installment monthly listed on my ITC with Capitec for R4611.00 which was over and above the R1957.00 i pay monthly to my loan!!! i immediately pulled a credit record to check, Capitec listed this as a R4000.00 opening balance with a R4611.00 installment and even had the audacity to markon my ITC that i paid that amount in Feb which is FALSE! when i called the call centre i was told that i had agreed to a multi loan, I have NEVER done so and if it was some small fine print in my original loan it was NEVER told or explained to me and then i was hung up on TWICE Also if i have a 4000.00 rand multi loan available to me but have noit used any of it my installment should be ZERO not 4611.00??? MY ITC RUINED!! TAKE THIS OFF MY ITC AS I HAVE NEVER USED WANTED OR AGREED TO THIS!!!
