Good day, my name is F Hlatshwayo, ref: ref 297425, I received an sms from dmc stating that I was offered 60% off as a settlement birthday offer which was sent on my mobile phone on the 21/03/2013 at 09:06am and that the offer is valid until the 03/04/2012. On the 25/03/2013, I payed an amount of R355.38 and settled my debt as per their offer and sent them a proof of payment and today 12/04/2012 I received a statement that I owe them a balance of R600.76 I settled the account believing that the offer they sent me was legit. I called them over ond over on this number 043 702 4600 and whenever I am being transfered to account it automatically drops or someone hangs up. I made 7 phone calls again this morning without success. Please advise on what to do if they continue to send me those statements, should I look for a lawyer to intervene because even that settled debt was 3 years older. Please advise urgently.
