I have a client registered under Debt review, the client has paid the debt in accordance with the court order, we have sent a full statement off all payments and the court order. Absa respond to say there is still a balance. We request a statement so we can see if they have missed pmts or failed to change the interest in accordance with the order and they will not provide a statment. How can we assist them get the funds or show them where their error is if we cannot get a statement. Their attitude towards assisting clients sort problems out is shocking. I am disgusted by the poor level of service and the poorly trained staff Absa Bank have in their departments. Something needs to be done. A simple problem that could be sorted out easily is made into a huge issue for nothing!!!
