I was just in store, tried to swipe my cheque card and was declined on the basis that my daily limit has been exceeded. I was highly embarrassed and tried to draw the equivalent amount at the ATM but was declined on the same basis.
I called the call centre and of course they cannot tell me why I was declined and then I was put through to a department that apparently could assist but the options given to me were unrelated to what I was enquiring about.
What a joke, its no wonder everyone is now with FNB, Standard Bank overcharge and under service so beware! Standard Bank will not even allow me to use my account as I please, what a bank!!!
