I tried to do an internet payment and it showed an error message. I phoned and was told that I needed to FICA. Take bar coded ID and proof of residence I am told. I duly went off to ABSA and WHEN I reached the teller I was told that the "proof of residence", which is a bank statement from another bank, is outdated. It shows the closing balance at 16 February 2013.
