My dad passed away after being in hospital for 3 weeks in September, I completed the claim form for the hospital stay sent it to Chartis along with the death certificate and heard nothing since.
We called Chartis and was advised that they sent us something "in the post" - its never been received.

No follow up call, nothing!! a Few emails sent with no reponse. (Thu 2012/09/27 15:52 and again a follow up on Mon 2012/10/08 17:58).
Chartis, after being notified of my dad's passing, has still been deducting their preimum for the last 6months. Quick to take the money but EXTREMELY slow to repond and pay out.
The Executors have also been trying to make contact, without success.
