On the 15th of July a colleague deposited R100.00 cash to my account. In their infinite wisdom Standard Bank saw fit to charge me R25.00 cash depsoit fee for handling a SINGLE R100.00 note. Really Standard Bank?
If I removed R25.00 unlawfully from one of your tellers, I would rightfully be prosecuted for, yet you can legally deprive me of R25.00? How do you justify these exorbitant fees in the first place. I understand the concept of charging for cash deposits, but 25%? Not on!
If I knew you were so short of funds I would gladly have lent you some money to see you through, but to just help yourself to my funds is just not acceptable.
I would aprreciate your response, and not your usual genereic "We will get back to you", which you never do.
Extremely annoyed client, soon to be ex client.
