I contacted your call centre and enquired about a additional warranty on my vehicle due to my factory warranty expiring. I finally managed to decide on a suitable package and Dumisani Radebe asssited me and helped me extensively to understand the product as well as to clear up any uncertainties from my side. I then decide to take out the policy on the 19/03 and Dumisani confirmed that all calls are recorded. He mentioned that the policy becomes effective after 3 months payments and he will make sure that my first payment gets deducted on the 01/04/2013. Subsequently i recieved a confirmation SMS a few days later confirmed that my policy is in place and my first payment will only be 01/05. I contacted Dumisani who promised to rectify and revert. No response. I emailed him again, still no response. Customer service dies the moment he signed up a new client as he already made his commission and the client is no longer important. I am on the verge of wanting to exercise my right to cancel this contract within 30 days as I can only imaguine what will happend should I actually need to claim in time to come.
