Nedbank Personal Banking NOT so Personal

On 05/03/2013 I lodged a query with Nedbank Personal Banking apropos excessive banking fees levied for debit orders (DO). There were insufficient funds in my account to honour my DO and my Personal Banker (PB) chose to let them go through anyway. This resulted in a fee charged of R630. Each month I create a future dated transfer to move funds from my bond to my current account to honour my DO and for some reason this transfer did not take place, whether it be an oversight on my part or a Nedbank system issue.

I requested my PB look into the issue and to provide feedback on the existance of the transfer. The response which I received from my PB was "this fee is mandatory and applicable to all accounts at all the financial institutions" and "the fact that we had paid your items as apposed to returning them and thus saving you time, and additional fees/ charges". Whether the DO had been honoured or returned Nedbank would've levied fees.

It's now been a month with numerous attempts at communicating with my PB. I either receive an Out of Office response from his mail server, or I'm flatly ignored. I'm now tiered of being treated like a mushroom and would like my query resolved.
