Efund of unauthorised debits

There are companies that debit my account without getting permission from me which I never bought any product or receive any service. My problem is that the bank has made it difficult to reverse these transactions whereas it is easy for these unscrupulous companies (how they get my bank details I don't know) just to take your money as and when they want to. Yesterday I spent an hour at the bank trying to reverse these debit orders but was unsuccessful. I have been banking with Capitec bank from 2004 and all along I kept my account open despite these unauthorised debits because it was easy to reverse them but not anymore. I feel as the bank's customer I deserve some sort of protection like, before letting debit order go through, the bank should ask for debit order agreement. It goes without saying that I am now going to close this account
