I'm complaining on behalf of my dad, he has a SASSA with Grindrod, & has policy that are supposed to be debited against the account relating to funeral cover! When he renewed his card & got banking details he got a printed document stating he can use the account for debit order purposes.but when Hollard tries to debit it wnt go through & when we called Grindrod they say this us not a direct debit account! If that's the case why did they give him documents stating that he should use this account for further debit orders!
My dad is 80 years & now he has to travel as old as he is going around to banks to make manual payments when he has a bank account!
This needs to be resolved ASAP!
