ABSA doesn't put their clients privacy first!

I received an sms from ABSA asking me to fetch my new credit card from the post office. At first I thought that this was a but then I received more messages and emails with more information about my credit card being at the post office. First of all I didn't ask for a new card because my current one only expires June 2014. Secondly I had no idea that this is the new way things are getting done, ABSA didn't inform me. I must now go to the post office to collect the card and then to the nearest ABSA branch to get the card set up, what an inconvenience. Lastly I can't believe that they think this is the best way to do this. Sending personal information via SA postal service especially a credit card. If ABSA won't put my privacy first I will do so myself. I'm closing my account with ABSA and will join a proper bank who values their clients, perhaps Standard Bank, my husband has been a very happy client of them for many years.
