My vehicle, Hyundai Elantra 2012, was sent to Tongaat Auto Industries for repairs - chosen by Outsurance. Whilst in their possession the vehicle was driven out of their yard and badly smashed - front smash - front axle badly damaged (Thursday 28 March). The details of the accident sound unconvincing. Promised a courtesy vehicle of a similar make by Sugen of Tongaat Auto Industries - STILL WAITING. Outsurance was not notified by them. I reported this to Outsurance on 2 April. Dealt with Yasmin and later her manager. Pathetic service - promised to be kept informed of all steps being undertaken - not done. Every call was made via my cellphone as they did not keep to their promises to contact me. My worry is that this is a brand new vehicle - less than a year old - less than 16 000 km on the clock. A lot of my money was invested in this car and i am appalled by the unsympathetic response of these financially secure companies. I think i am entitled to be given a new vehicle. Since there has been mechanical damage who is going to be responsible for all future related problems, please advise me.
