I contacted Standard Banks Prestige banking department on 14/03/2013 to request that they link my new home loan account to other accounts so I can view and manage everything online. The lady I spoke to informed me that they are unable to that over the phone and that I had to either go into a branch to get it done or send a secure message with my request via internet banking in which case my 'personal banker' would contact me to confirm the request and then execute it. As I had no intention of going into a branch if I didn't need to I submitted a secure message... and am still waiting for the call back... As I didn't know I had a 'personal banker' she further said she'd forward a request to my branch and I'll be assigned one. Guess my branch ran out of these so-called 'personal bankers' as well because I'm still waiting to be assigned one as well...

I contacted them again on 26/03/2013 with the same requests and was told that they will contact my branch and have the 'personal banker' contact me... still waiting... At least this consultant followed up but I was unavailable and couldn't take the call.

Hopefully Standard Bank will start getting their act together!
