Standard Bank does not respond to queries

After living in Johannesburg for a number of years and being serviced by the Priority Suite of Standard Bank in Sandton, we relocated to Newcastle thirteen years ago. Standard Bank in Newcastle did not have any Priority Suite/prestige bankers so I was back to phoning call centres to try to get anything done. The staff at the local branch will not give out their personal telephone numbers and if you do manage to get hold of one, and you ask for something to be done it always seems like they are passing the buck to someone else. The Newcastle branch has just appointed a Prestige Banker, and as I am relocating to Durban shortly I asked her to call me to answer a few questions with regard to which branch would be closest to me in Durban where I could access a Prestige Banker. I also have a number of other banking requirements which I need to discuss. However, I cannot seem to get this representative to contact me or email me as she ignores a request to do so. If I could find another bank that genuinely offered better service (not just promises on their ads) I would change banks.
