Very poor client service

I am executor for my father's will and as I am in the UK it is impractical to phone South Africa as it is costly and poor quality on their phone lines.
I Emailed Pencare to ask them what was required in order for my mother, who is deaf, to be paid my late fathers pension and I attached a copy of the death certificate in pdf. format to make it clear that this was a genuine inquiry.

I received an email reply stating that they could not open the attachment and to resend in pdf format. So again, I sent of the death certificate in pdf. format.

Also; in their genetic Email response they advised that they required certified copies of certain relevant documents which included a certified copy of my mothers bank statement. Are they for real?

Furtherly; I requested confirmation of their registered address so that I could arrange for the documents to be sent via recorded international delivery. Old Mutual has many addresses. They didn't even have the common decency to respond!

They will receive the docs & a certified copy of a letter from the bank which confirms my mothers name, address and bank details as my lawyer has confirmed under SA Law this is all that is legally required
