Collection of debit orders before scheduled date

I received an sms from Nedbank advising myself of a date change in debit order collection, and requesting my response relating to their request. I contacted Nedbank to ensure the standard procedure of collections ie being the 25th of the month or later, was upheld. This did not happen on both occasions has caused myself embarrassment due to funds not being available and subsequently my card being declined. In the most recent case i had a weekend away planned which i had to cancel due to insufficient funds in my account, due to Nedbank collecting the debit order earlier than arranged, ie collected on the 21st of the month. After numerous attempts to contact Nedbank to correct their error, i have been met with poor service and zero response from the call centre. They requested a copy of my bank statement, which was emailed to them, but still no response.
