Dear Budget Team (As you call yourself),
My premium (for car, house contents & portable items) went up from R950 to R1200. I haven't made even a single claim with Budget. I only phoned in to be towed after I hit a pothole in December. Is that a claim? Not in my books!
I have just been informed that my price will go up due to "everything going up". Stupid reasoning!!! Not only did my premium go up by some 26%, but also my excess went up from R1800 to R2, 050.00 (that is 13.9%).
This is all crazy. It doesn't make sense to me. Why all these extremely high increases whereas I haven't even CLAIMED? Can someone drill some sense into my brain. Am I such a to understand "factors that contribute to any price increase? ".
Budget acts like some mafia gang, ripping us all off! This is TOTAL CONTRARY to your pay off line "Budget Insurance is all about cutting the cost, not the cover" not in my case eh? If my premium is not lowered reasonably with immediate effect, I am gone to another service provider who will treat me as I deserve to be!
