Poor service from Absa rewards Department

I joined Absa rewards in Jul/Aug 2012 and was told that if I swiped my cheque card, 1% of what I swiped will be returned or transferred into my absa rewards account. So after a few months went by, I called Absa rewards to find out what my balance is, only to find out that its standing on R0.50. I told the consultant that it was impossible and they should check what is happening with my account. I was told to wait 2 weeks and they will come back to me with an explanation. Its been almost 3 months now and even after action-line was contacted and they send me an sms saying it will be sorted by the 20th of March. Today I called Absa rewards again asking if everything is sorted out and the consultant told me that my balance is still R0.50. I really don't care about the money, the fact that I was promised by so many employees of Absa that they will come back to me with the reason and it will be sorted out by a certain date and nothing has been done is just so disappointing. I worked for Absa and if this is how they treat clients, then I don't know how much longer they will be the "biggest bank" in SA. I cancelled my absa rewards today. Really disappointing...
