POOR TURN AROUND TIME TO QUEIES ON REWARDS PROGRAM

I am a member of the Absa rewards programme. I discovered that i am not getting any rewards when i swipe my credit card yet i get rewards for my Cheque card. I contacted Absa to get this resolved 2 weeks ago and asked them to back date my rewards ref: 1010369. I was told my profile did not show that i am on the rewards programme yet my money is being deducted and the agent said she would escalate this with Absa Head Office but no one ever phoned me to update me on progress. I then followed up on Mon 22 April and i was informed that nothing had been done on this ref number. I then asked that Absa cancels my rewards programme immediately and i was told that they can't do that because it doesn't show on their profile that i am a member ref: 1027381. Funny enough they can deduct my money yet they can't cancel this shady service i no longer believe in. I pay R21 for rewards/month on my cheque account which already costs the same amount as that from FNB and yet FNB doesn't charge you extra on e-bucks and fuel rewards like Absa does. I am starting to wonder why i still bank with Absa. I have run out of patience and will be switching if i don't get a response by end of day today
