Unbelievable Customer Service and claim handling

I was with Budget Insurance for about 1 1/2 years. at the first claim the disaster started:

1. Based on my number plate the Tow Truck Driver from First Road Emergency gets all my personal information from Budget and phones me on my cell phone -> Breach of Privacy: I am scared for my life.
2. While the car was in care of Budget (First Road Emergency - Budget Assessor - TC Panelbeater) all movable items were from the car. To crown it I found a red lipstick in car.
3. Information flow from the claims dept was very slow or non-existent. I didn't know where my car was, what was done or who to contact.
4. My premium increases by more than 100% because I apparently don't have continuous comprehensive cover for the past years. Budget never informed me of the change.
5. iPhone was never put on the policy, even though it was discussed with the person who initiated the policy.

When I cancelled the policy they informed me that management will phone me to discuss my complaint. This was 2 weeks ago, still no calls.

RECOMMENDATION: Never ever choose Budget, even though they may be cheap but once you have a claim you will see their real face.
