I have house cover together with my moto vehicle an contents of my home. I had a few items. I was advise by Budget Insurance (Call Centre) I needed to report to the police station and get a case no and call them back to report and put in my claim. No soon as I had done that I was called by a Chone Davel who said he was an assessor and needed to come through and check my premisses.
Only to be now told by Budget that the contents of my home was under insured and they will not pay out.
I am annoyed as at the time of taking the policy they did not send someone to have a look at the contents. It is only because I have submitted a claim and they are looking for any loop hole not to pay me out.
The amount in question is not even 50% of the insured household content amount. Is this the way Budget keeps their Budget in check By poor innocent clients like me.
They should change their tag line.
