I have just had a look at my ITC credit report and noticed a Trace Alert had been added by Nimble Group.
The debt they are attempting to collect has infact prescribed in terms of the presciption act 68 of 1969.
Judging by the amount of similar complaints lodged on this site against Nimble Group, This is obviously not a case of negligence, however it is gross malpractice. They are targeting individuals who are not aware of their rights, by listing illegal adverse listings at the credit bureaus & threatening them with legal action that creditors have waived their right to as soon as a debt has prescribed.
I am giving Nimble Group a deadline of by close of business on 2 April 2013, by which time I expect the trace alert to be removed. Failure to do so, I will lodge an official complaint with the Credit Ombudsman.
