Were they lying or are their staff not trained?

I was on unpaid maternity leave for 6 months. I tried to change my debit order to the 1st so that my hsuband could pay it but then they debited my account twice. After a hellopeter complaint & many calls they reversed it. They money deducted was from my unemployment & when that ran out i was unable to pay. I am back at work & called on 18.03.2013 & spoke to Estee to make arrangements for my arrears & to change my banking details so that they money comes off my husbands bank account. She took his details & made the changes. She told me to make payment arrangements immediately because if i dont do it by the 27th they will do a double debit so i agreed to pay R3000 starting the 01.04. She told me they will not be deducting any money until then. Yest the 19.03 an amount R2641.86 & then again R1000 was deducted from my account. When i called Leconia from the same department told me that i need to send documentation from my husband i.e affidavit etc. Which i dont mind doing but why to me & why not tell me this Monday> Leconia also told me they will continue to debit my account and they wont reverse my payment :-(. Why am i getting this treatment if i called in wanting to get my acc sorted
